We believe that playing football, staying fit and working with others is vital to the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle - especially for children while they continue to mature their game.
That’s why we decided to construct and open a top-quality Youth Football Club that caters for young athletes who have ambitions to become professional players or just want to play for fun and recreational purposes.
Since we opened, our dedicated football grounds has hosted thousands of players, teams, and events. It has functioned as a safe haven for the local youth community, regardless of their age, gender, or ability.

Our club has a lot to offer young football players. Whether you are new to the sport or have played league football before, our coaches can work with you to ensure you get the most from your experience at our club. We provide coaching of the highest standards in a safe and secure environment for young players to learn football. All coaches and all members of the management committee who need to interact with teams and players are fully DBS verified and have both Safeguarding and First Aid for Football training. We also have four Club Welfare Officers to ensure we run our club to the highest expectations from The FA.

EXTRA LUFC STUFF
Leighton United has invested heavily over the years to create a facility for youth football, which is unique among youth football clubs in the Leighton Buzzard region. We take pride in being able to provide natural grass pitches - considered to be among the best in the area. We have also redeveloped the clubhouse and surrounding landscape to improve vehicular access and disabled access to our clubhouse. Finally, during the Covid years, we planned several significant upgrades to our site. When restrictions were eased, we implemented our plans and invested in improving our kitchen, indoor space, and outdoor terrace to make it safer and more comfortable for visitors to use. Further improvements are planned for our facility.
Whether you are an existing or new LUFC player or a visiting team playing at our site, we look forward to welcoming you to our facility and encourage you to take advantage of the numerous services that are on offer.
